Fergie to host the Australian VMAs

MTV Networks Australia announced Black Eyed Peas front woman Fergie as Host of the MTV Australia Video Music Awards 2007 (AVMAs). The awards show now in its third consecutive year, will be held on April 29 at Sydney’s Acer Arena and is set to broadcast to more people than ever before through MTV Networks, broadcast partner Network Ten and MTV’s newest broadband channel MTV OVERDRIVE.

Fergie is also nominated for 3 awards, and she needs your vote!!:

1. sexiest video - fergalicious
2. best female artist - fergalicious
3. best hip hop video - london bridge.
