The launch event, which took place at the MAGIC trade show in Las Vegas, saw the star host a brief concert, which included appearances from the Peas and Macy Gray, before i.am clothing make it's catwalk debut with a number of celebrity guests.
Will.I.Am, a former student of L.A.'s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, revealed he had spend over four years working on the range, in between hectic touring schedules:
"I.Am clothing aims to fill the gap created in an industry where mass production consumes each person's need for individuality," says will.i.am.
The range is described as high-end streetwear "consists of blazers, shirts, waistcoats, skirts, pants, and scarves, all incorporating the funk of will.i.am's music."
The line will debut at L.A's Fred Segal store before being sold nationally.
